Session notes, encrypted

Write your notes against each session, straight after it. They’re encrypted before they’re stored, and kept with the client.

How they’re protected

Each note is encrypted with AES-256-GCM, using a key made for your account alone and kept where only SyncDiary’s server can reach it. Deleting a session deletes its note.

What that does and doesn’t mean

It isn’t zero-knowledge: the key lives on the server, not in your browser, so SyncDiary can show a note back to you. An export you ask for is plain text. We’d rather say so than imply otherwise.

Where to find them

On the session itself, on the client’s record, and on the Notes page, client by client.

Never used for anything else

Your notes are never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train AI.

Yours to take

Export everything you’ve written, whenever you like, from Settings → Backup & Restore.
